About our olive wood products

Where does the olive wood come from?

Our olive wood comes from Tunisia, where it is traditionally processed by experienced artisans. Each piece is then inspected and refined according to Swiss quality standards.

Is olive wood antibacterial?

Due to its dense structure and natural oils, olive wood has antibacterial properties, making it particularly hygienic for kitchen use.

Is olive wood suitable for dogs?

Yes, olive wood is a natural, plastic-free alternative to conventional dog toys. It is hard enough for long-lasting chewing fun, hardly splinters, and supports dental care.

Which size of chewing wood is right for my dog?

The right size depends on your dog's weight: small dogs (up to 5 kg) need smaller bones, while larger dogs need correspondingly larger pieces so that they cannot be swallowed.

Why is every piece unique?

Because olive wood has a natural, irregular grain that results from the slow growth of the tree, no two pieces are alike.

How do I care for my olive wood product?

Rub occasionally with olive oil; do not clean in the dishwasher. If it becomes dry, soak briefly in water.

Is olive wood food-safe?

Yes, all our kitchen products made of olive wood are untreated and food-safe.
