What makes olive wood so special?

Olive wood is extremely hard, antibacterial, and water-resistant. Its unique grain makes each product one of a kind. We exclusively use wood from old, no longer fruit-bearing olive trees – 100% sustainable!

Is olive wood antibacterial?

Yes! Olive wood contains natural polyphenols that have antibacterial properties. Studies show that bacteria survive significantly less well on olive wood than on other surfaces. This makes it perfect for cutting boards and kitchen utensils.

Where does your olive wood come from?

Our olive wood comes from Tunisia, where it is processed by experienced craftsmen. Every product is inspected according to Swiss quality standards before it reaches you.

🧹 Care & Cleaning

How do I care for my olive wood products?

Important: Never put it in the dishwasher! Wash olive wood by hand with warm water and mild soap. Dry immediately and allow to air dry upright.

Oiling: Rub with food-grade oil (olive oil, linseed oil) every 4-6 weeks. Let the oil soak in overnight and polish the next day.

Can I put olive wood in the dishwasher?

No! The heat and harsh cleaning agents will cause the wood to dry out, crack, and warp. Always wash by hand – it only takes 30 seconds!

How do I remove stains or odors?

Rub the area with half a lemon and coarse salt, rinse with warm water, and then apply oil. This natural method works perfectly!

What to do about small cracks?

Small cracks are normal and do not affect functionality. Apply oil generously and allow the wood to soak in overnight. The cracks will partially close again.

How much are the shipping costs?

Free shipping throughout Switzerland! We deliver free of charge to any address in Switzerland.

How long does delivery take?

Within Switzerland: 1-2 working days
EU countries: 5-10 working days
You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order has been shipped.

Do you also deliver abroad?

Yes! We deliver throughout Switzerland and the EU. Shipping costs are displayed at checkout.

🔄 Returns & Exchanges

Can I return my order?

Yes! You have a 30-day return policy from the date you receive the goods. The products must be unused and in their original packaging.

How does the return process work?

Please contact us by email with your order number. We will send you a return label. After receiving the return, we will refund the purchase price within 5-7 business days.

Who pays for the return shipping?

In case of cancellation, you bear the return shipping costs. We will, of course, cover the costs for defective goods.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Yes! All products are lovingly packaged and ready for gifting. We can include a gift card upon request – simply specify this in the order comments.

Can I personalize products?

Yes! Many of our products can be personalized with engraving. Contact us for individual requests – we can make almost anything possible!
